Every pupil at the Junior High School (JHS) 3 has the perception that Accounting is all about Mathematics. Some even complete the Senior High with that same mindset and end up not performing so well. Business Accounting comprises subjects such as Elective Mathematics, Business Management, Economics, Principles of Costing as well as Principles of Accounting. A student has the option of choosing either between Elective Mathematics and Economics or Elective Mathematics and Principles of Costing.

The discipline is not solely focused on Mathematics; its wider scope hovers around principles. Once you understand the principle of doing something, all you need to do is to apply those principles.
